AutoPress Preview

Well, it’s not that often when a new WordPress plugin hits the streets in an already crowded market and shows itself to be a winner!

Autoblogging isn’t new by any stretch of the imagination, but the methods of autoblogging seem to be evolving every day. Very soon a new wordpress plugin called AutoPress will be hitting the streets.

This is a plugin that will go head to head with other autoblogging plugins, but will also contain things that make it very unique at the same time.

I’ve had experience with the plugin’s author Edwin Boiten, and this guy is one smart fellow. I got to know him about a year or so back after I had picked up his Amaniche plugin. This is an Amazon autoblogging plugin that I’ve used on several of my sites.

What I like is the fact tha he’s brought to the table some very good aspects to make autoblogging super easy. He’s also combined many great features into AutoPress that you just won’t find elsewhere. You will still have access to post articles from ArticleBase, questions and answers from Yahoo Answers, Amazon product listing, eBay product listings, access to RSS feeds but he didn’t stop there.

Also, you can import your PLR material, with a twist. Imagine that you currently have a subscription to the Best Spinner. It’s gotten a hands down best spinning thesaurus on the market. Now, wouldn’t it just make sense that you could, on the fly spin your PLR material with the Best Spinner thesaurus and post it automatically? Well with AutoPress, you can!

Another great feature is that you can use the same thesaurus to spin articles from ArticleBase, in a completely automated fashion!

Add in text before and after. Again, in a completely automated fashion.

But again, it doesn’t stop there! Here’s a complete list that the Pro version will offer you for autoblogging sources:

  • Articles from Directories
  • PLR article uploads
  • CSV file uploads
  • RSS feeds
  • Flickr images
  • Youtube videos
  • Yahoo Answers
  • Twitter
  • Clickbank products
  • eBay
  • Amazon
  • LinkShare
  • Shareasale

Wow! Now, that’s all good, but Edwin has a bit of a ‘secret weapon’ up his sleeve. That’s the fact that you can dynamically keep your posts up to date! This is especially important with CSV feeds. You can manage your autoposts, just like you can with his Amaniche plugin. This in itself is excellent.

Now, I know that this posting is starting to sound like a sugared up sales letter, but to be honest – I’m just that impressed. Also because I’ve gotten to know Edwin, I know that he wants things to be perfect!

I have a quick video posted up on Youtube so you can get a glimpse at the interface pages for AutoPress. Take a peek:

I’ll post another video in the next day or so showing you the results being pulled by AutoPress. This plugin is due to be released in just a couple of weeks, so I’ll put up these videos to give you the ability to make an educated decision on whether or not to pick up this plugin for your online buiness ventures!

Automate Your Life

Well life has some funny twists. In the search for ways to automate functions that I perform on the web, I’ve come across a great piece of software called Ubot Studio.

It’s a really powerful piece of software that I’ve used to create some pretty complex automated tasks. One of the bots that I’m working on right now is a bot that can handle submitting to a random set of article directories.

What makes this different to other article submitters, is that this will submit to several types of article directories. Many will only submit to article friendly sites or article dashboard sites. Plus, I’ve hand picked the sites that are submitted to and so far it works pretty good!

Next, I’ll be creating a bot that will then submit spun articles to web 2.0 properties like Squidoo and the such.

So, very interesting indeed. But as I mentioned in the first paragraph, life has some funny twists. With all the bot creation that I’ve been doing, I’ve gotten pretty proficient at using UBot Studio and have had others ask me to creat bots for them!

It’s normally not cheap to do, as its custom work, but I believe that it can save a lot of money in the long run!

Here’s a sample bot for you to download for your use. It’s a simple bot that queries the goDaddy® web site and checks to see if keywords that you have are available as a .com, .net or .org domain name. The bot will complete by inserting the keywords into a file called godaddy.txt in the same directory that you put the bot. If it doesn’t find any keywords, it will not write a file.

So, to use this bot:

  1. Download it from here: Sample UBot Keyword to Domain Name Hunter
  2. You will insert your keywords. They can be comma seperated or one keyword per line. The bot will handle either.
  3. Next, you’ll click the play button.
  4. Sit back and wait a few moments until you see this web page displayed in the bot. If you have found keywords that you can register, congratulations! The bot will write the godaddy.txt file for you. You can then resubmit them to goDaddy for registration.

So, what are you interested in automating with your web businesses? I’ll be offering some bots that are centered around WordPress related tasks here, but the sky really is the limit. If you can do it in Internet Explorer, then you can pretty much automate it!

Drop me a line if you are interesting in automated your life!

UBot Studio – Comprehensive Review

Good day all. I just want to make sure that I’ve given you a great idea on the newest piece of web automation software called UBot Studio.

I did a quick article when I first purchased UBot which you can read here. But I wanted to give you more meat to what I think about this web automation tool.

Initially I had concerns about the visual programming interface that I called a Teletubbie interface. Well, I must say that I’m impressed. There are some things I still don’t like about the programming interface, but many issues come down to the fact that this product will still need time to mature.

But is it usable? ABSOLUTELY! I wouldn’t hold off for that. As a matter of fact, after about a week of playing with this software, I’ve found I can do about 95% of everything I want right now.

This is an amazing feat, as I have purchased other automation software and found it to resolve, in most cases, just about as many problems as they create.

UBot Studio – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Let me just take a rundown on what I don’t yet like:

  1. I do find the program a bit buggy. The programmers have taken quite a bit of time worrying about making sure features are in place and error handling has kind of suffered from that. Saying that though, the program doesn’t crater every 10 minutes. It will simply give an error which you can click through and continue working.
  2. Some functions are hard to get a handle on. I’ve had to really rethink how things should be done. We will assume much when interacting with a web page, but when put to the task of programming it for automation, sometimes you have to think things out a little differently. This is more a personal problem and less a programming problem.
  3. There is yet no support for POP email retrieval. This isn’t necessarily a biggie. You can go to the webmail interface of your email package and pull the email there. This may be a better solution, but I’m just getting my feet wet with it right now.
  4. Training videos. Much of the manuscript and training videos is kind of all over the place. I think that there should be some time taken to clearly identify how-to’s for the program. This isn’t an unusual problem and you can, with time, find a solution to your problem in their forums or by watching videos from several sources.

Now, let me tell you what I like!

  1. As I mentioned in the first article, this software work very well with Javascript. I’ve not yet gotten stuck with it.
  2. Selection of elements on the page is quite intuitive. And you have choices. With a bit of hunt and peck on a web page, you can quickly ascertain what you have to look for in the code or text on a page to select a field, scrape text or click to a new page. 5 out of 5 stars for this!
  3. After you start to learn the UBot way of thinking, it really doesn’t take long to learn! After a couple of days, I was starting to create some pretty wired web automation tasks! I will give you a disclaimer that I am a junior PHP programmer. But it took me months to learn PHP programming and days to learn UBot programming! I’m sure that most can learn to use this program.
  4. Support has been second to none! If there is any one thing that I like about this software is that I’ve had a hot line to the support people to help me find solutions and answer my questions. In the first week, I’ve probably had about 15 hours of free hand holding! I’m very impressed! They are very quick to respond to my queries.
  5. I’ve been able to automate some web tasks that I found impossible before but critical for my business. I was on the verge of putting aside a couple thousand dollars to get this outsourced. No more! For $200, I can get the job done to my exact specification in days!

Would I recommend UBot Studio? I would give you an absolute yes! In time, I fully expect the price to go up as this program develops and becomes better and better.

Quick Recommendation

If you like cutting to the chase. Here it is. If you are willing to do a bit of learning. Are willing to forgo the bugs you may encounter. And need web automation, then you need to invest into UBot Studio!

UBot normally sells for $245, but using the coupon code USING-WP and clicking here, you can lock in your sale price at $199.

In the end it does come to you. This many not be for you, but I’m dead serious about my web business and if you are too, then forgoing this purchase could cost you way more.

Hey all, I have a special post that might interest you as Internet Marketers.

Let me start with the following. Don’t you just hate coughing up for an expensive piece of software or a monthly membership fee to be able to create all important links to places like social web sites?

I know it bothers me. I’ve picked up several pieces of software that promise to be good to submits articles or provide social bookmarking to be dissappointed six months later when it barely works.

I know that I’ve spent $1,000’s in this vain effort. But what are we to do? We do need these links!

Today I have some exciting news. It’s a new tool call ‘UBot’. It’s a tool that lets you create your very own automated web bots that do whatever you command them.

Now, I’m going to be first to tell you that taking the time to learn Visual Basic or another programming language is about as fun as a root canal, but I’ve been resorted to fact that I’d have to learn this to be able to create my own submission programs.

With UBot, it uses a ‘Visual Programming Language’. When I first looked at it, I didn’t like it at all. Seemed to TeleTubbie to me. But after I watch almost two days of tutorials, I was thoroughly impressed!

I will warn you that it’s $249 but they offered me a coupon code to permit you to pick it up for only $199. I’ll give that to you at the end for sure. It’s nice to save that $$$$.

But back to UBot. I’ve just picked it up myself and haven’t had much chance to play with it yet, but I’ll definitely share more soon.

But Why UBot?

But here’s why I decided to pick up UBot. If you’ve done any kind of web automation, you’ll soon discovered that there is a lot of very hard hurdles to overcome nowadays on the web. One of the biggest is Javascript. Some may call it AJAX too.

Javascript or AJAX is a programming language that performs tasks right in your web browser to give the web a more desktop application feel. I’m sure you’re familiar with it, even though you don’t know it. If you’ve ever submitted to Ezine Articles, you’ve seen and used Javascript.

Now when you try to automate things like article submissions with websites running Javascript, it is a bear! In some cases, just about impossible.

Hence, why I started to look at programming languages like Visual Basic. But after talking with a fellow marketer who is a Visual Basic expert, he told me that even he has a ton of fun trying to work around Javascript!

I was very impressed when I saw that UBot can easily and I do mean easily deal with Javascript! I watched a tutorial where one fellow automated everything on a Squidoo insert, (can you say a ton of Javascript), literally in minutes.

So, what is this tool going to do for you and me? The web is a forever changing landscape so automation tools will only work for a short period of time. If something changes on the sites that a tool is automated to work with, it will no longer work.

If you picked it up a month back you may be stuck now. But if YOU wrote the script with UBot, you simply have to step through the program, see where things changed and bingo, you are back in business!

As to the programming in UBot, I’ll be honest, that it’s interesting for sure. But doesn’t look too hard. I’ll be sure to append another post to this one tell you more.

But from first looks, it actually looks pretty simple. For example, I thought, man it’s going to be tough to spin my articles. Again, I was delightfully surprised when I asked their support people about spinning my articles. Would that be possible. The answer? No issues, just use the built in spin command! Can you say too cool?

This tool really interests me simply because it’s so oriented to you and me, the Internet marketer.

Anyhow, if you’d like to check out UBot yourself, head on over there right now by clicking here: Check out UBot.

And if you do decide to pick up a copy for yourself, be sure to use the following coupon code and only pay $199: USING-WP

Oh, please leave me a comment to tell me what you think about UBot!

So, what’s up here?

Hey, I’ve come to visit and I don’t see to much here…, what’s up here?

Well, you’ve caught me with not too much info here yet. I intend to change that over time, so please stop back often!
